Chinchilla Babies
Chinchilla babies may be sold together in a litter; you may wish to buy just one baby though; a rodent is a lot to handle.
Females of these animals are larger than males. They can be even aggressive toward each other. Period of pregnancy lasts for about 111 days. They breed in winter and usually give birth to 1-6 young. The young are suckled for about 6-8 weeks.

They are very social animals and in the wild they live in family groups or colonies. Due to this reason these rodents should be kept in pairs or in families in captivity.
